We understand having an accident is a stressful experience, so we do our best to make the repair process as smooth as possible.
If you have an accident, contact us and arrange a time for it to be dropped off to our workshop. We’ll then assess the vehicle and provide a quote to you or your insurance company.
Your insurance cover will usually include the use of a hire car, but if not, we have a courtesy car that you can use while we repair your vehicle.
Once our repair quote is accepted we will make the repairs, paint the vehicle and put it all back together so it looks like it did before the accident or even better. It will then be ready to collect.
Yes, you can choose Dave’s Panel Worx if you have Choice of Repairer on your insurance policy. If not, we will reimburse you the difference to change your policy to enable you to have your vehicle repaired with us*.

Yes, absolutely! This is called a Third Party Claim and you have choice of repairer as you are the one being disadvantaged. This is the law.
If you are at fault, then you pay the excess, either at the time of making a claim with your insurer, or when you pick the completed car up from us.
If you are not at fault, no excess is payable by you. However, you’ll need to check with your insurer for their specific terms and conditions.
The average repair time is three to five days, depending on the extent of the damage.
If you have a Rental Car as part of your insurance, contact your insurer to arrange this vehicle. We will confirm with them the dates that your vehicle will be with us to make it as easy as possible.
If your repairs are part of a no fault insurance claim, you are entitled to a hire car* where the fees and charges will be recovered by the at fault’s insurance company.

We have a Courtesy Car that is available to our customers if you do not have other options. This does need to be booked in advance with us.

Q – Can you match paint to an old car, what if the sun has faded the colour?
We do our best to match any paint colour, but sometimes due to wear and the extent of the fade it is not possible to get a close match. In these cases it may be better to get your car Resprayed. On inspection we can recommend the best option.

Yes they are. All repairs are covered for defects in workmanship, or faulty parts for the life of the vehicle.
Pay on collection
All repairs are to be paid for on collection of your vehicle. This includes any excess payable by you. The cost of your repair will be fully quoted and agreed upon prior to the commencement of work. If there are any unexpected changes, then these will be fully discussed with you, the customer, prior to any of this additional work being done.
